PHILOSOPHY
As business owners, we need to view our businesses as assets with transferable value that can be sold on our terms and timeline. As we make decisions about where to spend our hard-earned profits, we should consider spending as an investment in the future of the business. My billing philosophy is to provide value at a reasonable price with no guesswork about what the services will cost. For this reason, all pricing is a fixed fee for each level of service. I also appreciate those owners who commit to improving their businesses and am pleased to offer discounts to those annual community members.
BUSINESS SUCCESSION JOURNEY
The business succession journey is a process and methodology I use to take a business owner through the succession planning journey. Each business owner has different objectives and goals allowing them to take up the journey where they need. Some business owners are well on their way and for those this journey can begin at whatever phase they need. For those business owners that don’t know where to begin, my approach will provide a systematic methodology to create that endgame plan. Together we will determine where to begin your journey and provide a fixed fee for each phase of the journey. (See the Journey Document for Fixed Fees).
BUSINESS VALUE
There are many forms of business valuations and appraisals. Our valuation offering is designed to provide a business owner a tool to estimate the value of their business based on their industry. We use BizEquity calculations and processes to generate your business value. Our valuation offering is not a certified business appraisal or intended to comply with the AICPA standards nor is it to be used in litigation, tax return compliance, or transactional matters.
The cost of a BizEquity Valuation report and meeting to discuss the findings will be $1,000.
Discounts are offered for
Registered Agent Companies of David M. Bastiaans ($250)
Annual Community Members ($100).
Annual Updates for the valuation calculations is $500 per year and $400 per year for Annual Community Members.
BUSINESS VALUE ENHANCEMENTS
Focused on business value, the business owner must assess and improve their business to enhance their value. At a minimum the business owner should have an understanding of where their business strives and where it can be improved. To obtain the baseline of your business value, we provide a Free Assessment using the Value Builder System with a summary deliverable of the client’s score on the 8 business drivers to enhance value.
Initial Discovery Meeting (max 2 hours) and review of the Detail Report - $500
Planning Meeting (max 2 hours) and Creation of Action Plan - $750
Educational Content and Coaching:
Self-Paced and Self-Guided – Monthly fee of $250
Instructed Curriculum – Monthly Fee of $500

COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIPS
For those business owners seeking educational content, Monthly or Annual Community Members will be offered access to business owner community discussion forum, educational content delivered through email and blogs, priority to sign up for events, discount to sign up for events and seminars, and resources available only through Membership. Annual Community Members receive a discount on the Business Value and Business Value Enhancements services listed above.
